Dr. Strangelove or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love The Bomb Anytime-ish @The Fiesta 13.
Satires and comedies usually age poorly, but 1964’s Dr. Strangelove is still weirdly relevant, still funny and biting. Stanley Kubrick made an endlessly rewatchable movie with legs.
If you haven’t seen it, The Fiesta 13 has a 4k version with plenty of extras to explore. Peter Sellars in three roles backed by an outstanding cast. An almost perfect movie.
The plot: A rogue US Base Commander triggers World War 3.
Funny stuff.
There’s no fighting in the war room.
