The Fiesta 13 1980’s Horror Movie OctoVember Challenge #2: The Funhouse (1981)(Criterion Channel)

Surprised we haven’t seen it. Directed by Tobe Hooper. Written by Twilight Zone’s Larry Block. Surprised I haven’t seen it.

So, three douchenozzles along with a generally good girl and her douchenozzle younger brother head to the carnival and have a bad idea. The set-up was pretty good and there’s a bit of a Texas Chainsaw Massacre feel to it, but the end was pretty formulaic. Well directed and passable, I also liked all the Frankenstein shout-outs.
